Artists Briana Danyele and Shiloh Keanu Smith deliver a soulful vision

Friends make the best collaborators.
Briana Danyele, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design, teamed up with her creative pal Shiloh Keanu Smith to design the singular line, Out of the Mouth of Babes. The collection, which launched in 2022, utilizes Shiloh’s expressive figures on Briana’s custom-created clothing. “My focus has always been to use the gifts I’ve been granted to express myself and connect to people through art,” Briana says. “My focus has not changed, though my medium is always changing.”

The model wears Briana Danyele’s silk taffeta blouse paired with suit pants. “Throughout the collection, fabric and pattern choices are purposeful . . . symbolizing this idea of humans being multidimensional, more than one, all at once,” Briana says.
